margin:0px 0px 24px 0px;"> <p> The Development and Ability Organization (DAO) founded in 2004. DAO performance has assessed by the Afghanistan Institute for Civil Society (AICS) against five categories including project management and program delivery, financial management, internal governance and strategic planning, external relations communication and outreach, human resurfaces and DAO Activities. </p> <p> DAO met the certification standard and it was successfully certified. In addition to the above, in generally DAO has received a 'Best NGO Award' from the Islamic Government of Afghanistan's Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled. Vocational trainings are mainly provided enabling persons with disabilities to learn new skills and can gain income through the skills that they have acquired. Physical rehabilitation is a process aimed at enabling people with permanent or temporary impairments to reach and maintain their optimal physical, psychological and social functional levels.
