CDSACO (Community Development and Social Affairs Charity Organization) 
is a non-governmental non-profit Organization, established in 2002 and 
registered with MoEC (Ministry of Economy) Afghanistan, Actively working 
in varies provinces and districts of Afghanistan especially in eastern 
region, CDSACO is the implementing partner of USAID, UN, and other 
international donor funding agency working in the sectors of Water and 
sanitation WASH, Vocational training Capacity Building Training , 
Agriculture Training, Business skill development, Health & Hygiene, 
Shelter, women and human Rights, Gender Equality, GBV, MHPSS and some 
other sectors. CDSACO is the Implementing partner of Roots of Peace AMP 
Program funded by USAID providing Agriculture Capacity Building 
Training's to Farmers. As you are the focal point of REDR UK 
Organization for Ukraine and Afghanistan I Kindly Request from you and 
would like to share our Board of Directorate and Management Team Request 
with your respective Management and Directorate Team.

Forty years of war, recurrent natural disasters, chronic poverty, 
drought and the COVID-19 pandemic have devastated the people of 
Afghanistan. The recent upheaval has only exacerbated needs and further 
complicated an extremely challenging operational context.
Even prior to the events of 15 August, the humanitarian situation in 
Afghanistan was one of the worst in the world. By the mid-year mark, 
nearly half of the population – some 18.4 million people – were already 
in need of humanitarian and protection assistance in 2021. Protection 
and safety risks to civilians, particularly women, children and people 
with a disability.

First: As you know more than 18 million people which make the half of 
Afghanistan population are under the line of poverty and they are face 
with bad economical satiation, they cannot make one time food for their 
family so there for they need humanitarian aid and assistants and help 
with pour people who are affected through this bad and critical economic 
condition in Afghanistan.

Second: As the previous government was overthrow buy Taliban’s so health 
sector is very affected and excited at very bad situation more than 3500 
BHC, CHC and Hospital which was sported and funded by World bank and 
other National and International NGOs Specially WHO so their Fund is 
stopped due to the overthrowing of previous government so health sector 
is very affected and all Hospitals and clinics do not have basic health 
drugs and they cannot serve food for their patients however thalassemia 
patients are a lot of and due to the closed of borders with Pakistan and 
other neighbors country so they are at very high risk and the hospitals 
are face with lack of bloods they cannot provide blood to them so health 
sector is highly affected.

Third: As the more than 40 years’ war and economic problems make people 
for immigration and they do not have shelter so those who are immigrant 
to city and provinces and however 40 years’ war destroyed their homes so 
there for they need shelter to be provide to them.

Fourth: those who are immigrants are face with lack of water and 
sanitation as water is very important for life and sanitation is 
important for care and protection purpose so immigrants are face with a 
lot of problems of WASH.

Fifth:  Humanitarians urge the de facto authorities to deliver on their 
promises to protect the rights of all Afghan citizens — including women, 
children, minority communities, former government employees. This 
includes ensuring freedom of movement for women to work and to enjoy 
their basic rights — and for girls to have effective access to all 
levels of education, after the overthrown of previous government Schools 
and Universities are closed by Taliban’s the new government so there for 
millions of young generation are face with very difficult time and they 
do not have access with education however due to the over through of 
previous government many people lose their jobs so there for it effect 
on young generation of Afghanistan their family con not sponsor their 
children for education so there for if we get fund regarding to 
education so we will share our strategy regarding to children, girls and 
women education.

As we worked with UNHCR, WFP, USAID, CCI, DIA, USIP Roots of Peace AMP 
Program and other National and International NGOs and we worked in the 
field of WASH, Food, Health, Education, Human Rights and Access to 
Justice, Vocational training, Capacity Building Training, Humanitarian 
Training's, Agriculture, Business skill development and any other 
sectors so there for, Our Board Directorate and Management staff 
requires and would like to be the implementing partner of your prestige 
organization REDR UK in Afghanistan, as respective organization working 
in the Capacity Building Training's  of civil society, which is coming 
under the core pillars of CDSACO program as well as CDSACO is main 
object is providing capacity building of civil society, local NGO, and 
Local civil community / societies, women societies, we are interested to 
work close with REDR UK in Afghanistan and implement their project as 
per their requirement and policies if your respective organization would 
like and intend to work in Afghanistan in this critical humanitarian 
crisis situation and would like to provide capacity building trainings 
so we would appreciate to work with REDR UK to provide capacity building 
trainings.
