Dear SPs

Very warm greetings

In the spirit of continuous communication that UNICEF committed to as part =
of the selection process, we are sharing this follow-on status update.

The selection committee comprising of representation from UNICEF, WHO and d=
onors; and observers from the World Bank and MoPH, completed the broader ev=
aluation process by end of September with selection results shared with sta=
keholders as an advisory step prior to their release to you, the prospectiv=
e SPs.

The results were shared with the Ministry of Public of Health by UNICEF on =
4th October. Since then, UNICEF is closely in touch with the broader panel =
of stakeholders (donors, World Bank and MoPH) to finalize this advisory ste=
p ahead of releasing the results. Indications point towards stakeholders be=
ing broadly in consensus with the results and thus we anticipate this consu=
ltative advisory step to conclude soon.

While we do appreciate the immense task ahead of all of us in getting the c=
ontracts ready and other intervening preparatory work ahead of implementati=
on commencement on 1st November, we note and appreciate your patience with =
the process.

UNICEF is also appreciative of the very close engagement demonstrated by th=
e stakeholders and the consultative approach and engagement from MoPH and t=
akes this opportunity to reiterate the collective commitment to a transpare=
nt and fair selection process.
