Dear Colleagues, The INSO Cent=
ral Team invites you to join our Security Roundtable (SRT) on Tuesday, 18 O=
ctober 2022, at 1430 hrs. The meeting will be held in pe=
rson at the new INSO Kabul offices and will be held in Eng=
lish. Directions to the new IN=
SO offices will be shared with all participants upon successful re=
gistration per email. If you are unfamiliar with the location of the office=
, please reach out to Central Region Assistant Safety Advisor Aftabuddin fo=
r directions. Please note that there will be no parking available at the lo=
cation; as such, we kindly request partners to arrange drop-off and pick-up=
. To remain COVID-Safe, a maximum of one participant per=
 organisation will be admitted. In addition, INSO will configure t=
he seating plan to allow for social distancing and ensure the availability =
of hand sanitiser. INSO will limit the number of participants to 25=
 and admit participants on a first-come-first-serve basis in the i=
nterest of fairness. Those wishing to join the SRT must confirm =
their attendance via email by 1430 hrs on 17 October. Part=
ners are requested to send their confirmation emails to Aftabuddin<=

Only those who have confirmed their attendance will be admitted to the meet=
ing. Partners in attendance are kindly asked to bring their own masks and p=
en for signing in at the entrance. Should you feel unwell, please refrain f=
rom attending in person to protect the other participants. The d=
uration of the meeting will be approximately one hour. The=
 main objective of this roundtable discussion will be to allow our partner =
NGOs to share experiences and lessons learned from the current operating en=
vironment, and provide a short overview of key developments in the Central =
Region. If you would like INSO to raise any specific issues at the meeting =
on your behalf, please let us know in advance. Roundtable meeti=
ngs are primarily a forum for exchanging information and insights concernin=
g the safety and security environment among NGO partners in the Central Reg=
ion, and we encourage you to come prepared to contribute.
