Minutes of the meeting:

Thank you, colleagues, for your active participation in yesterday=E2=80=99s=
 meeting
in the JACK office regarding last month's monitoring findings and
discussion about the action plan and challenges.

Below are the main discussion points.

All nutrition Technical extenders shared their monitoring findings
(positive and negative feedback). There were four main challenging parts of
the discussion:

1-     Capacity building of the hired staff at the health facility level.

2-     Low commitment of the staff at the health facility level.

3-     Follow up on the monitoring findings by IP.

4-     In some cases, shortage or unavailability of the equipment and RUTF
stock out or improper storage place for RUTF.

Regarding the low commitment of staff, we suggested to the IP to apply the
rule of punishment and reward and officially share these actions with other
health facilities and relevant colleagues for better improvements.
Fortunately, colleagues from the JACK office agreed about this suggestion.

About the 3rd point, colleagues agreed regarding the regular follow-up on
monitoring findings which was already shared by NTE with IP.

Capacity building and equipment supply take more time, and the JACK
colleagues said that the time of our contract is remaining; around one
month, and the contract will expire, so we will consider the new contract
if we are in place.

Dr. Sb Samadi shared the excel template with JACK colleagues for their
input about the action plan, current challenges, and solution and they will
submit this plan today.
