Greetings!

Thank you Dr.Sb Maroof and Dr. Ahmadi for the nice meeting.

As we discussed, I had supportive supervision visits from Qala-e-Abdurrouf
BHC related Qala-e-Abdurruf Paeen health post. I observed the work and
activities of the CHWs of the Health post.

Below are the main findings which need your kind consideration and urgent
follow-up.

*District: Mosaee *

*HF: Qala-e-abdurrauf BHC*

*Health Post: Qala-e-abdurrauf paeen*

*Code:0*

*CHW: Couple *

*Total number of Houses in their catchment area: 300 families*

*Date of Visit:20 August 2022 *

*The main findings:*

1-     Based on interviews with CHWs, there were 6 new Health Posts created
and they started their actual work last few months ago and still they
haven=E2=80=99t received the training.

2-     Unavailability of anti-pomatric measurements (MUAC).

3-     Unavailability of the ICE material.

4-     The health post needs a small board to show or point to the Health
Post.

5-     There was not any clear evidence for screening of all children under
5 in their catchment area in the last three months.

*Recommended action:*

1-     The CHWs should visit every single home in their catchment area at
least once a quarter to find out malnutrition cases to refer them to the
BHC, and along with this, they should spread the nutrition key messages to
the families.

2-     Initial training for new CHWs and refresher training for previous
CHWs, regarding nutrition activities.

3-     CWS should have a separate room in their house as a health post, and
the wall of the health post should be covered by wall banners, charts,
brushers, leaflets=E2=80=A6etc.

4-     Provide the ICE material.

During this visit, on-the-job training was done, and some action points to
the CHWs and CHS for further improvement of the program.
