The Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF) is compiling inputs for the upcomin=
g winterization allocation. This email is a call for expression of interest=
 (EOI). Interested partners are invited to complete the attached file (RA3_=
2022_Allocation Analysis matrix.xlsx) and revert to me at houedraogo@unicef=
.org<mailto:houedraogo@unicef.org> copying Victor at nut-clusterco@af-actio=
nagainsthunger.org<mailto:nut-clusterco@af-actionagainsthunger.org> no late=
r than 5.00PM Monday 29th August 2022. Please take note of the below:

The high priority districts (Priority 3) considered for this allocation are=
 outlined in the attached file (Winter_Prioritisation_Compiled_v04.xlsx), s=
heet named "Sectoral Priority", with nutrition concerned in column H.

The following activities are prioritized:

*   Prepositioning of supplies
  *   Provision of winter kits and clothing (this will be done in coordinat=
ion with ES/NFI cluster)
  *   Continued service delivery, with a focus on:
     *   Identification, referral and treatment of children under five and =
PLW affected by acute malnutrition
     *   Micronutrient supplementation to children under five
     *   MIYCN counselling to primary caregivers of children aged 0-23 mont=
hs
     *   Blanket supplementary feeding to children under five and PLWs

As for delivery modalities, although deployment of MHNTs remains eligible, =
priority will be given to capacity strengthening of static facilities (incl=
uding establishment and running of outreach sites attached to those facilit=
ies).

Additional information is as follows:

*   Your inputs will be utilized to develop the winterization allocation =
paper - Reserve Allocation 3, 2022
  *   Allocation Window:  15 September 2022 - 15 December 2022.
  *   Completion date:  All processes including disbursements to be complet=
ed by 15 December 2022.
  *   UN INGO/NGO Proportion: Majority (at least 75%) of funding going to t=
he INGO/NGO.
