Dear Colleagues, The INSO Cent=
ral Team invites you to join our Security Roundtable (SRT) on Tuesday, 30 A=
ugust 2022, at 1030 hrs. The meeting will be held in per=
son at the new INSO Kabul offices. The meeting will be hosted by A=
ssistant Safety Advisors Aftabuddin and Ayobi, and will be held in =
Dari. Directions to the new INSO offices</stron=
g> will be shared with all participants upon successful registration per em=
ail. Please note that there will be no parking available at the location; a=
s such, we kindly request partners to arrange drop-off and pick-up. <b=
r />To remain COVID-Safe, a maximum of one participant per=
 organisation will be admitted. In addition, INSO will configure the seatin=
g plan to allow for social distancing and ensure the availability of hand s=
anitiser. INSO will limit the number of participants to 30=
 and admit participants on a first-come-first-serve basis in the interest o=
f fairness. Those wishing to join the SRT must confirm their att=
endance via email by 1400 hrs on 29 August. Partners are r=
equested to send their confirmation emails to Aftabuddin, =
Central Region Assistant Safety Advisor, at <a href=3D"mailto:asst.central@=
afg.ngosafety.org">dsa.central@afg.ngosafety.org</a> Only those =
who have confirmed their attendance will be admitted to the meeting. Partne=
rs in attendance are kindly asked to bring their own masks and pen for sign=
ing in at the entrance. Should you feel unwell, please refrain from attendi=
ng in person to protect the other participants. The duration of =
the meeting will be approximately one hour. The main objective of this roun=
dtable discussion will be to allow our partner NGOs to share experiences an=
d lessons learned from the current operating environment, and provide a sho=
rt overview of key developments in the Central Region. If you would like IN=
SO to raise any specific issues at the meeting on your behalf, please let u=
s know in advance. Roundtable meetings are primarily a forum fo=
r exchanging information and insights concerning the safety and security en=
vironment among NGO partners in the Central Region, and we encourage you to=
 come prepared to contribute.
