On Sunday, August 14, 2022, the regional health cluster
coordination meeting was held by WHO in Herat province, the meeting began
with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

An introduction was made, the representatives of partner NGOs participated
from the provinces of Herat, Farah JACK and CHA, Ghor, Badghis.

The main agenda of the meeting was on the coordination of the NGOs with the
sponsors, a brief of the status update of each NGO, discussion on the
problems and challenges with the government and others and focus was on
solutions and suggestions.

Notable points:
1. Because the current government has no formalities, it cannot interfere
in the internal work of the NGOs and introduce non-professional and custom
people, and they must be treated in such a way that they do not cause
problems for the implementing NGOs.
2. The government of Qatar has approved a budget that helps WHO cooperation
to cover half-finished buildings of health centers, health centers that pay
rent and have a large number of clients and do not have space.
3. The NGOs that are not register in the WHO pyramid, recommended to
register and create a user to use the nine types of kits available with WHO
when needed.
