I=E2=80=99m in Kabul now and have been working with SCI Afghanistan team =
on the planning. For Faryab our Head of Office (HoO) Shakirullah and =
MEAL Coordinator Mohammad Alem (both in CC) have initiated coordination =
with JACK=E2=80=99s team in the province. They will lead on the data =
collection on ground and should be able to provide exact dates and =
timing of the interviews and FGDs. I will closely monitor and support =
our team from Kabul.=20

*        Maximum 8 Key informant interviews with service providers and =
implementation level support staff

*        2 focus group discussions with Service Users of the MHT (Male =
and Female) and 2 focus groups discussions with non-users (Male Female).

*        Observation of the MHT service delivery point.

*        (Optional) Maximum 3 Client exit interviews.

I am sharing with you the key informant interview tracker for you to =
complete if possible ahead of our briefing meeting on Monday 20th June. =
We are aware that there might be key informant (KI) descriptions or =
positions that do not 100% match your organization structure. In the key =
informant tracker, we have provided the notes explaining that you can =
provide an equivalent to the position. It is also, not mandatory to =
provide all KIs but it is definitely preferable. There is a second sheet =
which explains inclusion and exclusion criteria for KI that can guide =
the selection.

We have also added a FGD table and inclusion and exclusion criteria in 2 =
separate sheets to also guide the selection of FGD participants.

Lastly I=E2=80=99m attaching the consent form and the previous =
invitation letter (once more). The consent form is indicating 90min per =
interview. It will be very much likely to be less depending on the =
position of the Key informant.=20

Save the Children would like to undertake a research on mobile health =
teams in Afghanistan to identify markers of quality for the provision of =
health services through mobile clinics in humanitarian crises. The =
research will be conducted between end of July and beginning of August =
2022 in Faryab province. It is for this reason that I am reaching out to =
you find out if your organization is interested in participating in the =
research.

If your organisation is interested to participate in the research, the =
research team would like your organisation to assist with the following: =

Work with the research team to;=20

*	Identify Key Informants and coordinate to organize Key Informant =
Interviews (8 KIIs in total)=20
*	Identify FGDs participants and support organizing FGDs (4 FGDs in =
total)=20
*	Observation: provide details on the MHT service delivery point and =
alert the MHT team.=20
*	Share project documents (Grey literature).=20

All associated cost will be covered by the research team, and duty of =
care for the research team will be provided by Save the Children. The =
research team will comply with security, travel and other requirements =
and procedures necessary to travel to the country and field locations.=20

All data shared through the described collection methods will be =
protected and kept confidential by the research team. No individual(s) =
or organization name will be linked with the data. It is up to the =
organization(s) discretion what data will be shared.
