Please Find Below monthly update of PHC, Trauma care services and COVID-19
response in Kunduz, Parwan, Kabul Provinces (Project#21380) for the
reporting period of July,2022.

1.       Kabul COVID-19 Response:

A.      15136 cases screened for COVID-19.

B.      88694 clients received health educations & awareness regarding
COVID-19.

C.      2127 suspect cases detected by covid-19 response teams.

D.      184 sever and mild cases referred to the covid-19 hospitals .

E.       1578 Samples collected from suspected cases.

F.       107 confirm cases traced through covid-19 response teams .

G.      302 contacts were traced with confirm cases in the reporting period
through RRTs.

H.      1462  health education & awareness sessions held regarding COVID-19
and vaccination of covid-19.

I.        32 confirm cases cured in the reporting period.

J.        38 awareness sessions about RCCE covid-19 and cholera with
community elders underserved area in Kabul province .

2.           Parwan Province Trauma Care :

A.      1632 trauma cases managed and treated by FATPs;

B.      1632  trauma patients received psychosocial counseling and support;

C.      51  trauma cases referred to specialized hospital for further
treatment.

D.      Held 15 awareness sessions for community elders about trauma care
services .

E.       43 disable trauma cases treated and stabilized through FATPs .

3.        PHC in Kunduz province :

A.    4168 clients received essential health services through MHTs;

B.     608 Pregnant women received first Ante Natal Care (ANC1) from skilled
birth attendants (SBAs) through MHTs;

C.     436 Women received Post-Natal Care (PNC) services;

D.    762  Women of Child-Bearing Age (CBA) received Family Planning
services;

E.    524 Children below 2 years received  growth monitoring and nutrition
services;

F.     122 disable clients received essential health services through MHTs.

G.    737 girls and boys received psychosocial counseling services through
mobile health teams .

H.    Conducted of seven(17) community elders awareness / RCCE sessions .

Note : central public health laboratories(CPHL) doesn't process more than 50
samples on the daily base.
