Dear Dr. Jamshed,

Below, I am sharing summary report of AWD cases in Parwan province and need=
 your advice on how to communicate the mentioned challenges with the releva=
nt units.

On 16th and 17th July 2022, 14 suspected AWD cases are visited Parwan PH fr=
om Charikar district. From 14 suspected cases, 3 are RDT positive. 3 stool =
samples, and 2 samples from patients=92 drinking water is taken and sent to=
 CPHL for lab confirmation.

Services delivered:

*   Health education is provided
  *   Active surveillance system is available
  *   Patients received treatment in the hospital
  *   ORP is functional

Gaps and needs

*   Unavailability of CTC/CTU for the patients, the request is sent to UN=
ICEF for provision of tents to be used a temporary isolation area, but no r=
esponse is provided
  *   Lack of AWD treatment kits, RDT and caryblair
  *   Lack of hygiene kits and chlorin tablets
  *   Low public awareness
  *   Infected source of water that needs chlorination

Below, I am sharing summary report of AWD cases in P=
arwan province and need your advice on how to communicate the mentioned cha=
llenges with the relevant units.

On 16th and 17th July 2022, 14=
 suspected AWD cases are visited Parwan PH from Charikar district. From 14 =
suspected cases, 3 are RDT positive. 3 stool samples, and 2 samples from pa=
tients=92 drinking water is taken and
 sent to CPHL for lab confirmation. <o:p></o:p>
