Subject: Partner's meeting on teacher training and development in
Afghanistan

Dear colleagues,

We're pleased to invite you to a  partner meeting on 7 July 2022 at the
UNICEF Country Office in Kabul on teacher training and development in
Afghanistan. The main objective of this meeting is to explore options for
more coordinated actions and minimize duplications. To this end, the meeting
will be an opportunity to:

*  share information about current teacher training/development
interventions that the respective organizations are implementing across the
country.

*  discuss and agree upon feasible joint actions on teacher training and
development, contributing toward sustained improvement in teaching and
learning in schools.

In this meeting, the participants will be expected to present a brief update
on their teacher training programs, providing information on the focus,
approach, target groups, and reach of the programs. This will be followed by
an open discussion on possible ways and means toward more coherent and
aligned teacher training and development programs in the country. Please see
the agenda (attached).

We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting on 7 July 2022. Please
confirm your participation in the meeting before COB 5 July 2022 and we'll
then request for required information for gate entry. Thank you.
