Dear CBNP TWG members, I hope you are healthy and find this email at great
time.

Public nutrition directorate of MoPH intends to conduct the CBNP technical
working group meeting. The meeting is going to be held in the PND ELC next
week, *Monday 04th-July-2022 from 9:30 am-11:30 pm*.

The agenda points will be shared soon,  if you have any agenda point please
do not hesitate to share with me.

Once again below are the main action points of the last meeting held on 11
April 2022 in PND-ELC, I draw your special attention to ensure the previous
meeting relevant action points has done.

1- Special consideration by relevant NGOs for providing regular and quality
quarterly reports on CBNP implementation in (*Badghis, Daikundi, Farrah,
Nimroze, Pakteya, Samangan, Laghman, Nangarhar, Wardak, Nooristan,
Kandahar, Ghore and Helmand*) provinces strongly needed.

2- UNICEF colleagues are requested to accelerate the contracting issue to
complete the CBNP capacity building phase in Kandahar province.

3-  The amount of incentive payment to CHWs/month will be 1000 AFs but the
HPs should be active which can be recognized by regular reporting to CHSs.

4- The contracting issue of CBNP refresher and MNP for Laghman and BDK
provinces needs following up.

5- Payment release to BARAN NGO for purchased kitchen kits needs to be
cleared by UNICEF colleagues.

6- The CBNP contract for Jawzjan province needs amendment/no cost extension
by UNICEF to complete the capacity building phase and cover all the
remained areas of the province.

7- SAF colleagues should start assessment of the financial and technical
situation of the CBNP replication in Jawzjan province and share the results
with UNICEF colleagues till the end of April 2022.

8- The brief PPts reflecting CBNP capacity building activities in Jawzjan,
Parwan and Ghazni provinces need to be shared by responsible colleagues.

9-  For completion of CBNP replication in Parwan province, UNICEF
colleagues should consider all steps of CBNP expansion to 175 HPs and CBNP
refresher training for 76 HPs throughout the contract which is going to be
signed with any NGO.

10- BDN colleagues needs to ensure quality CBNP refresher training
replication in Balkh province and provide regular updates on the progress
to PND.

11- PND will facilitate the ToT training for Laghman and BDK provinces as
required.

12-  AFYAT colleagues requested to identify the level of their financial
supports for improvement of CBNP implementation.
