feedback, noted,  followed up, and update you on the progression as =

1-         The contact number of HFs staff are updated=20

2-         The duty station will be updated on a monthly basis=20

3-         The ambulance for Khaki Jabbar CHC is already available and =
active

4-         Some HFs are renovated but for the remaining, the assessment =
will be done during the current week

5-         The medicines are supplied to all HFs and will be resupplied =
according to the consumption and request of HFs=20

6-         There is no public electricity in 25 HFs but active =
generators are available and will be used in case of need=20

Department of Monitoring, Evaluation and Research planned to conduct =
remote monitoring of various projects to spot any possible areas for =
improvement as a complement to data analysis and field visits being =
regularly conducted. In this round of remote monitoring, our staff =
reached out to 43 (91%) health facilities (HFs) out of 47 HFs covered =
under Sehatmandi project in Kabul, using the contact list provided in =
the latest FMR by Kabul provincial office.=20

The monitoring items were:=20

1) Accessibility (whether the phone number was reachable);=20

2) Availability (whether the staff was still working in the designated =
HF); and=20

3) Recommendations/challenges shared by Health Facility Heads (HFHs).

The main findings are as below; please refer to attached file for =

1.       Almost half of the contact details provided were not =
accessible; this raises the concern of ghost employee.=20

a.       Please update the contact list and include active numbers for =
all HFHs.

2.       It is recommended to classify the reported needs versus =
available resources and take immediate actions to resolve them.
