Greetings from the nutrition cluster coordination team.

This is a call for projects for the 2022 AHF Standard Allocation First roun=
d.

As per the Standard Allocation rules, all interested partners are herein ca=
lled to submit their full project proposal through GMS, considering:

*   The nutrition cluster priority districts and activities as outlined i=
n the attached excel file;
  *   Further clarification of the project with local authorities and subna=
tional cluster teams (see contacts in the attached PDF file) where needed;
  *   The eligibility of your organization to AHF has been confirmed by OCH=
A HFU;
  *   The potential overlap(s) in districts are crosschecked from your side=
 and reviewed with the other submitting partner(s), with the possible suppo=
rt of subnational cluster teams;
  *   The submission timeframe. Although the system remains open up to Augu=
st (See original email below), the SRC/TRC will be reviewing the projects a=
s they come in until the allocated funds are exhausted;

Please note that all submitted project proposals will be referred to the St=
rategic/Technical Review Committee (SRC/TRC) for review and recommendations=
 that will be shared with partners.

  *   AHF Operational manual, including ceilings and budget guidance
  *   Guidance documents from specialized working groups.

Dear Cluster Coordination Colleagues,

On behalf of the Humanitarian Coordinator, the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fun=
d (AHF) is hereby launching the AHF First Standard Allocation 2022.

We've attached the final allocation paper discussed and agreed in the ICCT,=
 approved by the Humanitarian Coordinator with unanimous endorsement by the=
 AHF Advisory Board.

Please initiate the cluster consultation and invite suitable and eligible c=
luster partners to agree with you on submitting their proposals in the AHF =
Grant Management System (GMS). Partners are requested to discuss and agree =
their project proposals with the respective clusters before submission in G=
MS.

The allocation timeline is indicative. The AHF will process proposals immed=

 to accept new proposals for funding under this allocation, until 15 August=
 2022. Note that this date (15 August 2022) is established to finalize and =
close the entire allocation. Please also note that the start and end dates =
(26 April 2022 - 15 August 2022) of the allocation are important dates/dead=
lines while other steps/process schedules during this period can be adjuste=
d in consultation with clusters and partners.

The maximum approved period for projects funded by this allocation is 12 mo=
nths. Extensions may be provided based on criteria and processes outlined i=
n the AHF Operational Manual.

Individual proposals must not exceed the budget limit per organizational ri=
sk level, as outlined in the Operational Modality (see AHF Operational Manu=
al).

All project must be reviewed and cleared by relevant Cluster and ideally sh=
ould be reviewed by technical working groups as appropriate. Reviews and te=
chnical endorsement by the Cash & Voucher Working Group of all projects wit=
h cash components remains compulsory.

Guidance notes of Specialized Working Groups are attached to this email.

We are available to support clusters & partners throughout this allocation,=
 in groups and individually at any time.

ehalf of the Humanitarian Coordinator, the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (A=
HF) is hereby launching the AHF First Standard Allocation 2022.
<o:p></o:p>
We&#=
8217;ve attached the final allocation paper discussed and agreed in the ICC=
T, approved by the Humanitarian Coordinator with unanimous endorsement by t=
he AHF Advisory Board.
<o:p></o:p>
Plea=
se initiate the cluster consultation and invite suitable and eligible clust=
er partners to agree with you on submitting their proposals in the AHF Gran=
t Management System (GMS). Partners
 are requested to discuss and agree their project proposals with the respec=
tive clusters before submission in GMS.<o:p></o:p>
The =
allocation timeline is indicative. The AHF will process proposals immediate=
ly as soon as they are submitted in the GMS and the system remains open to =
accept new proposals for funding under
 this allocation, until 15 August 2022. Note that this date (15 August 2022=
) is established to finalize and close the entire allocation. Please also n=
ote that the start and end dates (26 April 2022 &#8211; 15 August 2022) of =
the allocation are important dates/deadlines
 while other steps/process schedules during this period can be adjusted in =
consultation with clusters and partners.<o:p></o:p>
The =
maximum approved period for projects funded by this allocation is 12 months=
. Extensions may be provided based on criteria and processes outlined in th=
e AHF Operational Manual.
<o:p></o:p>
Indi=
vidual proposals must not exceed the budget limit per organizational risk l=
evel, as outlined in the Operational Modality (see AHF Operational Manual).=
<o:p></o:p>
All =
project must be reviewed and cleared by relevant Cluster and ideally should=
 be reviewed by technical working groups as appropriate. Reviews and techni=
cal endorsement by the Cash &amp; Voucher
 Working Group of all projects with cash components remains compulsory.<o:p=
></o:p>
