</strong> After subsiding in the afternoon of 08 May, armed clashes re-erup=
ted at approximately 0100 hrs, in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/njfvxB=
2ExfjFWjLv8">Kasa Tarash</a>, <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/TaPkAg4kjfKoAR=
pj9">Kharid Dara</a>, <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/UuXwe29ttWc9fVqr6">Dar=
a-e Jar</a> and <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/XcgcU1zo6rGFh2HD8">Pasha-e</=
a> areas. <br /><br />Furthermore, at approximately 0130 hrs, clashes expan=
ded to the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/EbGVXTwjtdyheTDL9">Nawbahar</a> a=
rea, as OAG members attacked an IEA outpost. The armed clash continued unti=
l approximately 0400 hrs when OAG members withdrew towards the mountainous =
areas.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">In all of the clashes, SAF and RPGs wer=
e used, and the clashes are still sporadically ongoing in <a href=3D"https:=
//goo.gl/maps/njfvxB2ExfjFWjLv8">Kasa Tarash</a>, <a href=3D"https://goo.gl=
/maps/TaPkAg4kjfKoARpj9">Kharid Dara</a>, <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/Uu=
Xwe29ttWc9fVqr6">Dara-e Jar</a> and <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/XcgcU1zo=
6rGFh2HD8">Pasha-e</a> areas.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">NGOs are advised to avoid the areas and=
 adjust movements accordingly.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 08 May, 1545 hrs:</strong=
> The armed clash between the IEA security forces and the NRF ended. During=
 the clashes, 10 IEA members were killed, an unspecified number were injure=
d, and seven more went missing. No casualties reported on the NRF side.&nbs=
p;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">All shops and markets were closed in th=
e Deh Salah DAC. Furthermore, all roads connecting the title areas to the r=
est of Deh Salah District remained closed to civilian traffic.&nbsp;<br /><=
br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">NGOs are advised to avoid the areas and=
 adjust movements as new skirmishes remain likely.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 08 May, 1015 hrs: </stron=
g>The armed clash reportedly expanded into the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/ma=
ps/UuXwe29ttWc9fVqr6">Dara-e Jar</a> area. Casualties have been reported, t=
hough the exact number remained unclear.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The roads connecting Deh Salah DAC with=
 the above areas have been all closed to civilian traffic by IEA forces.<br=
 />
<p>The previous advisory to avoid the areas remains in place.</p>
INSO Northeast will continue to monitor the situation and provide email upd=
ates as required.&nbsp;<strong><br /><br />As of 08 May, 0900 hrs:</strong>=
 At the above time and location, NRF members attacked a contingent of appro=
ximately 100 IEA forces who were conducting a search operation. The armed c=
lash was ongoing at the time of writing and involved exchanges of SAF and R=
PG fire.<br /><br /></div>

 to civilian traffic.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">NGOs are advised to avoid the area and =
adjust movements.<br /><br /></div>
