<div><br />Since the start of the operations, the IEA security forces arres=
ted one civilian from Cheshmeh Garmak Village and another two from Pir-e Fa=
rkhar Village, and seized 10 rifles, 7.65 cal. ammunition, and 10 RPG round=
s.<br /><br />Local reporting suggests the IEA-led search operations will c=
ontinue throughout Farkhar District.<br /><br />While the Farkhar-Warsaj Ro=
ad is open to civilian traffic, the IEA security forces increased the numbe=
r of checkpoints along the route.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
NGOs are advised to avoid the new areas targetted by IEA search operations.=
<br /><br />NGO staff should ask for updated safety information regarding t=
he environment from local staff, trusted community partners, and appropriat=
e officials prior to travel through the IEA areas of operations.<br /><br /=
>NGO travellers should also ensure they they understand current access and =
movement regulations from authorities, and further ensure that they have ap=
propriate and updated documentation.<strong><br /><br />As of 2100 hrs, 14 =
April:&nbsp;</strong>The IEA-led search operations in&nbsp;<a href=3D"https=
://partners.ngosafety.org/email/36.602373,%2069.78349">Shengan</a>,&nbsp;<a=
 href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/As2CPsAkExnf457u7">Warok</a>, and&nbsp;<a href=
=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/7fP9Nu5K47U8u9jQ8">Zingurd</a>&nbsp;areas ended. Th=
e members of the IEA security forces went in the Pir-e Farkhar and Tagab-e =
Chap areas, where house-to-house search operations are ongoing. Furthermore=
, approximately 50 IEA members arrived, as reinforcements, in Farkhar Distr=
ict from Taloqan DAC.<br /><br />At the time of writing, the telecommunicat=
ion services in Tagab-e Chap area were disabled.&nbsp; &nbsp;<strong><br />=
<br /></strong>NGOs are advised to avoid the new area targeted by the IEA-l=

trong>The IEA security forces have ended the search operations in Luzhdeh, =
Khusdeh, and Youkh areas of Farkhar District, and have started searching th=
