Hi everyone,

I'd like to highlight the request from Awaaz to have as many of you as
possible fill out the Awaaz Afghanistan Partners Survey. This year will be
an important one for the response's only inter-agency
feedback-complaint-response mechanism as it drafts a plan to strengthen its
operation at a critical time for so many people impacted by crises in the
country. Awaaz, UNOPS and I want the plan to be informed by the experiences
of your staff and project participants with Awaaz so that it is as effective
as possible for crisis-affected people, particularly those who want to
submit feedback and complaints on abuses and other breaches of
accountability that might have occurred.

Below is the link to the survey, which should not take too much of your
valuable time to complete.

The deadline for submitting the survey is 5 pm on 15 April. Awaaz would like
to get at least 50 responses. So far only about 25 have been submitted.
Other points from Awaaz regarding the survey:

*       We appreciate receiving at least one response representing your
organization/cluster/sub-cluster/working group.

*       The information gathered will be used for quality assurance only.

Again, thank you for completing this survey. I consider strengthening the
Awaaz Afghanistan hotline and accountability centre a key and urgent AAP

collective accountability and community engagement initiative that functions
as a toll-free, countrywide hotline number - 410 - affected populations can
dial to access information on humanitarian assistance programs and register
feedback. As a two-way communication channel, needs and priorities as
reported on the ground are circulated to partners to help improve the
quality of programming in Afghanistan. More information can be found on

committed to increasing the quality of support Awaaz provides in terms of
