Subject: Health and Nutrition Beneficiaries in Kunduz

Dear Dr. Ahmad

I hope this mail finds you well.

I am Alice the interim Senior Health Advisor for Save the Children in
Afghanistan.

Save the Children has been implementing Health and Nutrition programme in
Kunduz province through mobile health teams (MHTs). We are currently
operating 4 MHTs in Khanabad, Chahar Darah, Dashte Archee and Qalaye Zaal
districts. However, Save the Children is closing all its programmes in
Kunduz province by 31st Mar 2022. It is for this reason that we have reached
out to IRC to take over our MHTs and sites from April 2022 to continue
providing the much needed lifesaving health and nutrition services to the
beneficiaries in these 4 locations. As IRC is preparing to take over and
transition MHT activities to these locations, we anticipate a gap of a
couple of weeks before they could finally operationalise the MHTs and
continue providing services. I am therefore, reaching out to your
organisation, Jack Foundation, to provide health and nutrition services to
the beneficiaries as they come to seek services in your static/fixed health
facilities.

We have mapped out the beneficiaries per village and the nearest health
facility in the attached document.
