ongoing in Charikar, Bagram, Ghorband, Salang and Shinwari districts. Salan=
g District has reportedly been completed, however, it is still unclear whet=
her search operations will resume in the morning. Search operations will re=
sume in the other mentioned districts in the morning. Furthermore, an incre=
ased IEA presence continued to be observed across Shekh Ali and Surkh-e Par=
sa districts throughout the day, without search operations reported. Howeve=
r, it remains likely that search operations will also be initiated in these=
 two districts, either in the morning or in the coming days.&nbsp;</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 02 March, 0930 hrs:</stro=
ng> As expected, the search operation resumed this morning in Charikar, Bag=
ram, Ghorband and Salang districts. Furthermore, IEA forces also started op=
erations in Shinwari District, and an increased IEA presence and posture wa=
s observed in Shekh Ali and Surkh-e Parsa districts, indicating that search=
 operations will start in these districts today or in the coming days. The =
operation did not resume in Sayed Khel and Jabalussaraj districts, which ha=
ve seemingly been completed.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>

Bagram, Ghorband, Sayed Khel, Salang and Charikar district, which is expect=
ed to resume in the morning.&nbsp;<br /><br />Today, during the search oper=
ation in the Mandawi area of Charikar City, an armed individual attacked a =
group of IEA forces with SAF from an unknown direction near a private resid=
ence, killing three IEA members before escaping. IEA forces reportedly resp=
onded in an attempt to locate the perpetrator by forcefully raiding surroun=
ding houses; however, details regarding the IEA response is still not confi=
rmed.&nbsp;<br /><br />Furthermore, an armed clash occurred in the Wazhghar=
 area of Ghorband District between two IEA groups engaged in the search ope=
ration. The reason for the armed clash remains unknown.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><b=
r /></div>

aj, Bagram, as well as Sayedkhel districts, however, no operations are ongo=
ing there. Rather, as is the case in Kapisa, the focus appears to have shif=
ted towards targeted operations. Nonetheless, checks on highways and second=
ary roads remain thorough and include checks of documents as well as conten=
ts of trunks and luggage. &nbsp;<br /><br /></div>

 all but Charikar city centre. NGOs are nonetheless advised to minimise non=
-essential movements through Parwan, and, when moving, ensure that they are=

trong> IEA operations resumed as of this morning, and have extended to Bagr=
am and Jabalussaraj districts, as well as several more locations in Charika=
r District. As is the case with similar operations in Kabul and Parwan, the=
 objective is primarily related to the armed opposition and seizures of wea=
pons and vehicles belonging to the former government.&nbsp; <br /><br />The=
 operation is likely to last for several more days, and include additional =
