The weekly update of COVID-19 , from 18 February to 24 February 2022.

COVID-19 hospital updates=20

=20

a)       299  people were trained  (199 male, 100 female including =
children)  BPHS.

b)      Almost 600 people men women and children received Health =
education ( nutrition, Covid-19, and measles).=20

c)       In these days the measles outbreaks are increased and we have =
reports from our under coverage provinces Kunduz , Parwan and Kabul =
regularly.=20

d)      The measles cases  are increasing day by day so it need for a =
really serious care, vaccination and support for those children already =
infected and suffering from measles.=20

e)      In Kunduz acceleration measles vaccine campaign conducted in =
those areas where there is outbreak and low coverage- and up to more =
than 10000 children are vaccinated(Received Measles Vaccines).=20

f)        In PHCC meeting in Kunduz it is decided that accelerated =
measles campaign will be conducted in three districts (Kunduz Center, =
Imam Sahib and Khan Abad)

g)      COVID-19 hospital is active by support of JACK there is 50 bed, =
one bed for each patients with all needs.

h)      There was contact tracing during this reporting period and will =
be going on regularly.

i)        During the reporting period, 105 patients visited COVID-19 =
hospital (OPD).

j)        Regular contact with community is going one by our Health =
worker and make them aware about the new wave of covid-19 and =
self-education to protect them self from affected person, social =
distance and wearing masks when they want to go out or in crowded =
places. =20

k)      All clients/patients receive counselling from our =
councilor/mental health advice/ post covid19 Trauma.=20

l)        JACK is caring for all covid-19 cases in these days by its own =
financial and with the  support of Health team  to be responsible for =
each covid-19 cases. Every patients when admit to the Kunduz COVID-19  =
hospital we are   covering  the patient with the primary equipment =
/service  that we have we are providing, we want the patients to be =
satisfy from our services that we are providing for  them.=20
