Welcome to this week's issue of Concepts & Community=2C the weekly newslet=

This week=2C we turned our attention to the role of the private sector in=
 humanitarian action (https://humanitarianencyclopedia.org/news/33) .

Each January=2C private and public sector leaders gather at the World Econ=
omic Forum (WEF) in Davos to discuss some of the most pressing global issu=
es. Over the years=2C humanitarians have seen the WEF as an essential oppo=
rtunity to engage the private sector to pursue humanitarian goals. This ye=
ar=2C four key takeaways emerged from the Davos Agenda: pandemic response=
=2C economic recovery=2C climate action=2C and technological innovation. U=
nsurprisingly=2C these themes overlap with the same issues that top the hu=
manitarian sector's agenda for 2022.

If these overlapping themes are anything to judge by=2C it seems clear tha=
