Dear Mr. Nikolov,

I trust you are fine.

As JACK is implementing the BPHS project in Kunduz province funded by UNICEF
for the period of November 2021 to January 2022. Kunduz was the most
vulnerable province and deeply affected due to security and war before
August 15, 2021. Most of the remote health facilities were in worse
condition due security reason and these were not in easy access for their
development in terms of facility renovation and medical and non-medical
equipment standardization.

Since we started implementation the BPHS project funded by UNICEF, we are
receiving multiple requisitions for medical and non-medical equipment which
are not contained within the approved budget for the above mentioned period.
These items are vital for the remote HFs.

As we utilized the approved budget with efficiency and effectiveness to
achieve the targets defined in the mutual signed contract and already
accomplished the desire objective based on health services delivery for
Kunduz. After financial projection for the month of January, we will be
having extra balance amount in all activities which will not be supposed to
utilize till end of the project period. Therefore, in consideration to HFs
requests, we want to utilize the extra balance amount for the items not
available in the approved budget.

Please review the attached list and grant us your valued approval that we
could proceed with purchasing of these equipment  in order to respond to
requests raised by health facilities as per their urgent need. Your approval
and consideration will be highly appreciated.

If there is any further clarification or information required, please let me
know.
