Dear COVID-19 implementing NGOs under ERHSP project,

With reference to the below email dated April 24, 2021, the MoPH instructed 
all SPs to hire staff for COVID-19 hospitals/wards as per the current BoR 
plus 25% extra staff to be able to respond timely and properly to 
emergencies. However, it has been noticed that there is shortage of staff in 
some provinces and the MoPH instruction has not been implemented.

Therefore, you are requested to provide us with the update on the number of 
staff at COVID-19 hospitals/wards (using the attached format) by today May 
25, 2021 at 2:00 pm to GCMU/MoPH.

Looking forward to receiving the requested information on due date and time

Subject: MoPH instruction on COVID-19 staff

Dear COVID-19 implementing NGOs under ERHSP project,

Following the staff reduction at COVID-19 hospitals in all 34 provinces and 
considering the recent raise in the trend of COVID1-9 cases across the 
country, a committee comprising of Curative Medicine GD, GD-M&EHIS, Corona 
Directorate, PMO and GCMU was assigned to review the situation and make a 
proposal to the MoPH leadership.

In response, His Excellency the Acting Minister of Public Health instructed 
as below:

"ملاحظه شد!

فقط در صورت نیاز 25 فیصد بیشتر از ‌BOR موجوده (منطقی باشد و بر معیار بستری 
نمودن افراد بستر شده باشد) پرسونل توظیف شود. در تطبیق هدایات متذکره اجراات 
دقیق و جدی صورت گیرد و هرگونه بی توجهی در استفاده از منابع قابل پیگرد 
میباشد.

Only in case of need, 25% staff in addition to the current BOR (it should be 
logic and as per the criterion for admission of admitted patients) should be 
deployed. In the implementation of mentioned instruction, precise and series 
action should be taken, and any carelessness in the utilization of resources 
will be pursuit."

Therefore, you are requested to take action as per the above instruction of 
MoPH.

Please acknowledge the receipt of this email and update MoPH from your 
action accordingly.
