On behalf of the BPHS, EPHS and COVID-19 Implementing Partners under
SEHATMANDI, I would like to cordially thank the efforts of the Global Fund
for the provision of one-month funding support for financing the Sehatmandi
and COVID-19 projects.

Based on your yesterday (21st, Sep,2021) Microsoft Team meeting with
Sehatmandi Implementing NGOs, the concerns raised by the Sehatmandi
Implementing NGOs are as below:

1)      The project should be Lump sum as line wise budget management will
not be feasible in one month project

2)      The duration of the project should be re-considered as in one month
only procurement of medicines will not be feasible, we all know that the
pharmaceutical commodities market in Kabul is already in crisis.

3)      Banking is not an option because the bank payment limitation is
still a big challenge for all NGOs, NGOs staff accounts are in AZIZI bank
so how can we transfer the salaries to staff?  Although the staff salaries
can be transferred to their bank account, but they will not access them,
however, supplier, in the current context are not accepting any payment
through bank, so this will limit the procurements even for the lifesaving
items

Kindly request you to consider the above mentioned points of the Sehatmandi
Implementing NGOs concerns, which need to have the solution for it.
