:</strong> Approximately 400 ANSF members from 209 Corps and Khulm District=
 began a clearing operation in the Sayyad area.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">OAG members responded to the ANSF deplo=
yment by opening fire on ANSF personnel and an armed clash is ongoing in Sa=
yyad.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The Aybak-Mazar-e Sharif Road is closed=
 to civilian traffic in the area.</div>
<br />NGOs are advised to avoid the area and adjust movements if necessary.=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 16 July, 1000 hrs:</stron=
g> There were no further clashes overnight on 15-16 June. However, the OAG =
checkpoint at Sayyad remains in place and OAG members continue to check pas=
sengers and vehicles travelling along the road.</div>
<br />The previous advisory remains in place due to the presence of the OAG=
 checkpoint.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 15 July, 1525 hrs:</stron=
g> The armed clash ended at around 1400 hrs with no reported casualties. Bo=
th ANSF personnel and OAG members remain in the area.&nbsp;<br /><br /></di=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The Aybak-Mazar-e Sharif Road is open t=
o civilian traffic. However, OAG members have established a checkpoint on t=
he road at Sayyad and are searching vehicles for GOA/ANSF personnel.&nbsp;<=
br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.&nbsp;</div>
<br /><strong>As of 15 July, 0930 hrs:</strong> <span style=3D"text-align: =
justify;">At the time and location above, OAG members attacked an ANSF posi=
tion on the Aybak-Mazar-e Sharif Road with RPGs and SAF. ANSF personnel ret=
urned fire and the armed clash is ongoing. The Aybak-Mazar-e Sharif Road is=
 closed to civilian traffic.</span>
