, after which OAG members returned to the Karti Suhl and Asia Abad areas.&n=

mately 1 km from Hazrat-e Sultan DAC and reports suggest that an attack on =
the DAC is likely within the next 12-24 hours.&nbsp;</div>

g> The attack on the convoy ended at approximately 1430 hrs and OAG members=
 withdrew from Yaka Toot. The ANSF convoy then arrived at Hazrat-e Sultan D=
AC. No casualties were reported.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>

n in Karti Suhl with no casualties amongst OAG or ANSF members. ANSF person=
nel then moved south to Asia Abad and remained there at the time of writing=
, reportedly planning to clear Asia Abad and the area of Dara-e Kalan to th=
e south.&nbsp;<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.</div>

g> OAG members attacked a convoy of approximately 100 ANSF personnel, inclu=
ding the Chief of Police for Samangan, in the Yaka Toot area. The convoy wa=
s travelling to Hazrat-e Sultan from Aybak to support the clearing operatio=
n.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The Mazar-e Sharif-Aybak Road is closed=
 to civilian traffic.</div>
<br />The previous advisory remains in place and is extended to the Yaka To=
ot area.<br /><br />
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 14 July, 1100 hrs:</stron=
g> Approximately 250 ANSF members based in Hazrat-e Sultan DAC began a clea=
ring operation in Karti Suhl and the area surrounding Hazrat-e Sultan DAC t=
o the northwest.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">OAG members attacked the ANSF personnel=
 with RPGs and SAF and a firefight is ongoing in the Karti Suhl area.&nbsp;=

<br />The previous advisory remains in place and is extended to the Karti S=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 14 July, 0955 hrs:</stron=
g> OAG members remain in position. There was no further fighting overnight =
on 13-14 July. No additional ANSF reinforcements have deployed to the area.=
&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">Reports indicate that OAG members have =
emplaced IEDs along the roads leading to the DAC to limit ANSF movements. O=
n 13 July an IED detonated on the DAC road against an ANP vehicle travellin=
g to Aybak City. Following the explosion, OAG members opened fire on the ve=
hicle and killed two ANP policemen. The risk of collateral damage from IEDs=
 is high for civilians travelling on the DAC road, while collateral involve=
ment in firefights also remains highly likely for residents and travellers =
in the area.<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.</div>

g> OAG members remain in position. There was no further fighting overnight =
on 12-13 July. No additional ANSF reinforcements have deployed to the area.=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">Reports indicate that OAG members plan =
to conduct a further attack on ANSF personnel in the next 24 hours.&nbsp;</=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 12 July, 0910 hrs:</stron=
g> No additional clashes occurred overnight. The firefight on 11 July wound=
ed seven OAG members in addition to the ANSF casualties reported, and damag=
ed one more ANSF vehicle.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The area remains a frontline between OA=
G members and ANSF personnel at Hazrat-e Sultan DAC and further clashes are=
 expected to occur in the next 12-24 hours.&nbsp;</div>

g> The armed clash ended at 2050 hrs. The exchange of fire wounded six ANSF=
 personnel and damaged one ANSF vehicle.<br /><br /></div>

to within 1 km of the Hazrat-e Sultan DAC. Further clashes are anticipated =
within the next 12-24 hrs.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
