:</strong> OAG members remain positioned in the Baharak DAC area.<br /><br =
/>ANSF/PGMs engaged the armed opposition in the Baharak DAC area in the ear=
ly morning hours yesterday. Hours later, most ANSF/PGM members reportedly s=
urrendered themselves to OAG members. Opposition groups subsequently took c=
ontrol of the Qalatak area.<br /><br />Four ANSF members have been killed a=
nd four others have been wounded. Seventeen OAG members have been killed an=
d 20 others wounded. As of the time of writing, it is unclear whether all c=
asualties were the result of ground engagements or AAF airstrikes. At least=
 two airstrikes in the Baharak DAC area impacted on a private residence, ki=
lling two civilians.<br /><br />No further incident has been reported in Ba=
harak District.</div>								</div>

:</strong> Most ANSF/PGM members withdrew from the Baharak DAC area to <a h=

istrict, where heavy armed clashes are still taking place. An unconfirmed n=
umber of PGM members reportedly surrendered themselves to the armed opposit=
ion, which took control of the district centre.<br /><br />At around 1800 h=
rs, AAF conducted at least 12 airstrikes targeting OAG positions in the Bah=
arak DAC and Qalatak areas, and in the Khan Aqa area of Arghanjkhwa Distric=
t, along the Fayzabad-Baharak Road.<br /><br />The previous advisory remain=
s in place.</div>

g> At around 1800 hrs today, OAG members attacked multiple ANSF/PGM positio=
ns in the Baharak DAC area with SAF and RPGs. ANSF/PGM members returned fir=
e and an armed clash is ongoing.<br /><br />The ongoing armed clash has eru=
pted amidst a series of OAG takeovers in Badakhshan Province since the even=
ing yesterday, with a number of ANSF members consolidating in Baharak Distr=
ict and Fayzabad City, among other locations (AFGHANISTAN/COUNTRY/R/2506202=
1/#001-U6).<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.</div>

g> An estimated 150 ANSF/PGM members launched an operation targeting OAG po=
sitions in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/kcsaYY4WMcpnrxr58">Kanda-e Fo=
rmoragh</a> area of Baharak District. OAG members engaged the government tr=
oops and an armed clash erupted.<br /><br />The armed clash in the Baharak =
DAC area concluded with the pro-government troops forcing the OAG members t=
o withdraw. Nevertheless, OAG members reportedly remain positioned in surro=
unding areas.<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.<br /><br /=

g> At the time and location noted above, OAG members attacked an ANSF check=
point with SAF and RPGs. ANSF/PGM members responded and an armed clash is o=
ngoing.<br /><br />NGOs are advised to avoid the area until further notice.=
<br /><br />NGOs with staff present in the area are recommended to initiate=
 headcount procedures and advise their staff to remain indoors, away from w=
indows, and consider to seek shelter inside safe rooms or hardened structur=
es.<br /><br />Furthermore, NGOs are advised to ensure that communication a=
nd reporting channels with their staff remain operational.<br /><br />NGOs =
are also encouraged to closely monitor conflict activity in Badakhshan Prov=
