> At the time and location noted above, OAG members attacked multiple ANSF =
positions with SAF and RPGs. ANSF returned fire and an armed clash is ongoi=
ng.<br /><br />The Taloqan-Fayzabad Road is now closed to civilian traffic.=
<br /><br />Amidst a series of OAG takeovers across the Northeastern Region=
 and other parts of the country since May, OAG members have taken control o=
f a number of district centres in the neighbouring Badakhshan Province sinc=
e the evening yesterday, with ANSF members having previously withdrawn on m=
ost occasions and no armed clash being reported. This includes the Keshem D=
AC area, located along the Taloqan-Fayzabad Road.<br /><br />NGOs are advis=
ed to avoid the area and adjust movements until further notice.<br /><br />=
NGOs with staff present in the area are recommended to initiate headcount p=
rocedures and advise their staff to remain indoors, away from windows, and =
consider to seek shelter inside safe rooms or hardened structures.<br /><br=
 />NGOs are further advised to ensure that communication and reporting chan=
nels with their staff remain operational.<br /><br />Lastly, NGOs are encou=
raged to closely monitor conflict activity in Takhar and neighbouring provi=
