tar round impacted on a private residence, killing five civilians (three ch=
ildren, one man, and one woman). At around 2100 hrs, OAG members attacked, =
using SAF and RPGs, an ANA base located in the Kala-e Gaw area, with ANA so=
ldiers returning fire. Casualties have been reported, however, figures rema=
in unknown as of the time of writing.<br /><br />AAF has been monitoring th=
e security situation by air and has reportedly struck OAG positions in mult=

:</strong> As has been the case over the past days, heavy fighting between =
ANSF and OAG members took place during the last night. Government troops an=
d opposition groups exchanged SAF and RPGs in the Sedarak area of PD 1 and =
Zakhil Turkman Ha area of PD 3 from approximately 2000 to 0500 hrs.<br /><b=
r />At around 1900 hrs yesterday, an estimated 80 ANSF members launched an =
operation targeting OAG members in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/b34HK=
zP9yjBQDG446">Chuhel Dekhtaran</a>, <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/BfGJTFKy=
ixdnD7i96">Qarwol Tepa</a>, <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/Ceign6rQjFhD2jQ3=
9">Kochi Amir Abdul</a>, and <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/onXuVWLeFcKShq2=
S6">Maidan Pakhta</a> areas of PD 3. OAG members engaged the government for=
ces, which resulted in two OAG members killed and another one arrested.<br =
/><br />At approximately 1900 hrs yesterday, ANSF and OAG members exchanged=
 SAF and RPGs in the Sedarak and Bandar-e Kabul areas of PD 1. One ANSF mem=
ber was killed and two others were wounded. Three OAG members were killed a=
nd two more were wounded. Another firefight erupted in the Zakhil Turkman H=
a area at around 2000 hrs. At least one RPG round impacted on a private res=
idence. As a result, six civilians were killed (three women, two men, and o=
ne child) and 11 others were wounded.<br /><br />Electricity is still unava=
ilable in parts of PD 1, PD 2, and PD 3.<br /><br />Private telecommunicati=
on network providers continue interrupting their service in Kunduz Province=
 in the evening hours, with the government-owned Salaam as the only phone n=
etwork operating at night-time. Still, the Salaam network is unstable.<br /=
><br />The Kunduz-Taloqan, Kunduz-Emam Saheb, and Kunduz-Pul-e Khumri roads=
 are open to traffic. however, the risk of collateral damage if travelling =
through this route is assessed to be high.<br /><br />The previous advisory=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 27 June, 1000 hrs:</stron=
g>&nbsp;No armed clash is ongoing in Kunduz City and surrounding areas sinc=
e last night. Nevertheless, ANSF and OAG members remain positioned in the S=
edarak, Bandar-e Emam Saheb, Bandar-e Khanabad, and Chella Mazar areas, and=
 there is potential for further exchange of fire.<br /><br />In the Sedarak=
 area, at approximately 1800 hrs yesterday, OAG members attacked ANSF posit=
ions with SAF and RPGs. Four ANSF members were killed and two others were w=
ounded.<br /><br />At around 2100 hrs yesterday, heavy fighting took place =
between both warring parties in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/Pk6bXvHM=
Q55He8Lr9">Kut-e Gurd</a> of PD 3. As a result, OAG members withdrew from t=
he area and one ANSF member was wounded. Three civilians (two women and one=
 child) were killed in the crossfire.<br /><br />AAF is monitoring the secu=
rity situation by air.<br /><br />Electricity is still unavailable in parts=

g> ANSF and OAG members are sporadically exchanging SAF and RPGs in the Sed=
arak area of PD 1 and the Kart-e Fayzabad area of PD 4. Heavy fighting was =
reported in Sedarak last night and in Kart-e Fayzabad early in the morning =
today. Multiple private compounds have been damaged in Sedarak.<br /><br />=
At approximately 0500 hrs today, OAG members attacked a PGM checkpoint in t=
he <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/gF3EPyYKk1ZaZjN16">Rajaki Ha</a> area wit=
h SAF and RPGs. ANSF members were deployed to the area and pushed the armed=
 opposition back.</div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><br />IMF is still monitoring the secur=
ity situation by air. At around 0900 hrs yesterday, AAF conducted at least =
one airstrike targeting OAG positions in the Tepa Murch area. Four OAG memb=
ers were killed and two others were wounded.<br /><br />Electricity is stil=
l unavailable in PD 1, PD 2, and PD 3, and in some parts of PD 4.<br /><br =
/>The Kunduz-Taloqan and Kunduz-Emam Saheb roads remain closed to traffic. =
The Kunduz-Pul-e Khumri Road remains open to traffic, however, the risk of =
collateral damage if travelling through this route is assessed to be high.<=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 24 June, 0930 hrs:</stron=
g>&nbsp;Heavy fighting is ongoing between ANSF and OAG members in the Banda=
r-e Emam Saheb and Bala Hisar areas of PD 2.<br /><br />ANSF and OAG member=
s are sporadically exchanging fire in the Bandar-e Kabul and Sedarak areas =
of PD 1, and Chella Mazar area of PD 2.<br /><br />Last night, heavy fighti=
ng with SAF and RPGs took place in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/pfyK1=
KC1LzfNE5az7">Bagh-e Sherkat</a> area of Kunduz District, at the border wit=
h Gul Tepa District, from 2200 to 0300 hrs. Subsequently, ANA soldiers with=
drew from their base and OAG members took control of the area. Twelve OAG m=
embers were killed and seven others wounded.<br /><br />Yesterday, at aroun=
d 1500 hrs, ANSF fired at least three artillery rounds from the airport pla=
teau towards OAG positions in the Bagh-e Sherkat area. At around 2000 hrs, =
OAG members fired at least five mortar rounds from the Pul-e Chahardara, Ch=
ahardara District, towards ANSF positions in the Bandar-e Kabul area.<br />=
<br />IMF has been monitoring the security situation in Kunduz City by air =
since yesterday. AAF, on their side, conducted at least two airstrikes targ=
eting OAG positions in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/iPQVcnViby6ozeDD9=
">Numarat Sayaaf</a> area of the newly established PD 8 at around 1400 hrs =
yesterday. The airstrikes mistakently impacted on an ANSF checkpoint, killi=
ng one ANSF member and wounding eight others. At aproximately 1200 hrs, AAF=
 conducted at least one airstrike targeting OAG positions in the <a href=3D=
"https://goo.gl/maps/nLeVtAad6C6XiLuKA">Tepa Murch</a> area of PD 4. Seven =
OAG members were killed and four more were wounded. At around 1000 hrs, in =
the Zir Bala Hisar area of PD 2, AAF conducted at least two airstrikes targ=
eting OAG positions. As a result, six OAG members were killed and five othe=
rs were wounded.<br /><br />At approximately 1600 hrs, OAG members attacked=
 a PGM checkpoint in the Kart-e Fayzabad area of PD 4, with PGM members ret=
urning fire. Three OAG members were killed and four others were wounded. Th=
ree civilians were killed and two others were wounded in the crossfire.<br =

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 23 June, 0930 hrs:</stron=
g> Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Bandar-e Emam Saheb area, as well as in=
 the Khwaka Mashhad area of PD 4, since last night. At around midnight, OAG=
 members in the proximity of the Bandar-e Emam Saheb area opened fire on AN=
SF members that had withdrawn from the Dasht-e Abdan area and were proceedi=
ng to Kunduz City. Casualties have been reported, however, figures remain u=
nknown.<br /><br />Government troops and the armed opposition are sporadica=
lly exchanging fire in the Sedarak, Bandar-e Kabul, Bandar-e Khanabad, Chel=
la Mazar, and Mullah Sardar areas. At approximately 1300 hrs yesterday, OAG=
 members attacked an ANSF checkpoint in the Bandar-e Kabul area with SAF an=
d RPGs. ANSF returned fired and, as a result, two ANSF members were killed,=
 one more was wounded, five OAG members were killed, and two others were wo=
unded.<br /><br />At around 2100 hrs last night, OAG members attacked, usin=
g SAF and RPGs, and overran an ANSF checkpoint located in the Sarak-e Naw a=
rea of PD 2. As a result, three ANSF members were killed, two others were w=
ounded, and two more were taken and reportedly remain in captivity as of th=
e time of writing. Roughly one hour later, an estimated 30 ANSF members wer=
e deployed to the area and retook the checkpoint. OAG members engaged the g=
overnment forces and the armed clash resulted in three OAG members killed a=
nd another two wounded.<br /><br />At around 1200 hrs yesterday, in the Mai=
dan-e Pakhta area of PD 3, OAG members attacked an ANSF position with SAF a=
nd RPGs. Four OAG members were killed and three others were wounded.<br /><=
br />AAF was monitoring the security situation in Kunduz City and the surro=
unding areas yesterday and, at around 1400 hrs, conducted at least two airs=
trikes to target OAG positions in the Khak Kani area of PD 1. Three OAG mem=
bers were killed and five others were wounded.<br /><br />The ANSF members =
engaged in the operation in the Telawka area returned to Kunduz City at aro=
und 0900 hrs yesterday.<br /><br />No electricity is available across Kundu=
z City since 20 June.<br /><br />The Kunduz-Taloqan and Kunduz-Emam Saheb r=
oads remain closed to traffic. The Kunduz-Pul-e Khumri Road remains open to=
 traffic, however, the risk of collateral damage if travelling through this=
 route is assessed to be high.<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in =

g> Heavy fighting with SAF and RPGs is ongoing between ANSF and OAG members=
 in the Pul-e Chahardara area of PD 1, along the Kunduz-Chahardara Road sin=
ce 0400 hrs. ANSF and OAG members are still sporadically exchanging fire in=
 the Bandar-e Emam Saheb, Bandar-e Khanabad, Chella Mazar, Mullah Sardar, a=
nd Sedarak areas, as well as in the Bandar-e Kabul area of PD 1.<br /><br /=
>Yesterday, OAG members surrounded an ANA base located in the <a href=3D"ht=
tps://goo.gl/maps/ptXBjQDF28HWEnS99">Zakhil Qadim</a> area of PD 1, in the =
proximity of the Kunduz-Chahardara Road, and, at around 1400 hrs, approxima=
tely 30 ANA soldiers surrendered themselves to their armed opposition along=
 with their weapons. OAG members later released the ANA soldiers.<br /><br =
/>The ANSF members engaged in the operation in Telawka remain positioned in=
 the area.<br /><br />In the Sedarak area, two ANA soldiers have been kille=
d and three others wounded. Two civilians have been wounded in the crossfir=
e.<br /><br />No electricity is being provided to Kunduz City since 20 June=
. Electricity installations have been damaged due to the exchange of fire i=
n the Dasht-e Abdan area, in the north of Kunduz District. The electricity =
department is reportedly planning to fix the installations in the area.<br =
/><br />The Kunduz-Taloqan and Kunduz-Emam Saheb roads remain closed to tra=
ffic. The Kunduz-Pul-e Khumri Road remains open to traffic, however, the ri=
sk of collateral damage if travelling through this route is assessed to be =

mpounds in Sedarak.<br /><br />At around 1915 hrs today, OAG members fired =
SAF against a PGM checkpoint located in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/=
Dmpr15Wqm7L5gxP59">Kart-e Fayzabad</a> area of PD 4, in Kunduz City. PGM me=
mbers returned fire.<br /><br />The ANSF members engaged in the operation i=
n Telawka remain positioned in the area.<br /><br />Total number of casualt=
ies remain unclear.<br /><br />As has been the case over the past years, pr=
ivate telecommunication network providers have interrupted their service in=
 Kunduz Province in the evening hours, with the government-owned Salaam as =
the only phone network operating at night-time. The Salaam network is still=
 unstable.<br /><br />The provision of electricity has been interrupted in =
parts of Kunduz City.<br /><br />The Kunduz-Taloqan and Kunduz-Emam Saheb r=
oads remain closed to traffic. The Kunduz-Pul-e Khumri Road remains open to=
 traffic, however, the risk of collateral damage if travelling through this=
 route is assessed to be high due to increased conflict activity in Kunduz,=
 Aliabad, and Baghlan-e Jadid districts.<br /><br />The previous advisory r=

ermore, ANSF and OAG members have been sporadically exchanging fire, SAF an=
d RPGs, in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/4ZdrqGkAPBWbBhby7">Sedarak</a=
> area of PD 1, along the Kunduz-Pul-e Khumri Road, and in the north of the=
 district, in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/fuBhE3YWMYx1SPpJ6">Mullah =
Sardar</a> area, along the Kunduz-Emam Saheb Road.<br /><br />An ANSF opera=
tion targeting OAG positions is ongoing in the north of the district, in th=
e <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/qax4RqyY2P45Px9J7">Telawka</a> area. An es=
timated 100 ANSF (ANA and ANP) and PGM members are involved in the operatio=

d at the checkpoint located in the Chella Mazar area proceeded to Bandar-e =
