been monitorting the security situation in Baghlan Province until last nigh=
t. At around 1615 hrs yesterday, the air forces conducted at least one airs=
trike targeting OAG members in the Fabrika area, on the Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz=
 Road. OAG members were trying to destroy the road surface using an excavat=
or. As a result of the airstrike, four OAG members were killed and two othe=
rs were wounded. The excavator and one sedan-type vehicle belonging to OAG =
members were partially damaged.<br /><br />The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road rem=
ains open to small vehicles, while trucks are travelling between Baghlan an=
d Kunduz via alternative roads in the area. In addition, OAG members are st=
ill operating a checkpoint in the Hussain Khail area of Pul-e Khumri Distri=

 </strong>ANSF and OAG members are still sporadically exchanging SAF in the=
 Fabrika area. Local PGM members, reportedly led by Mirwais Khan, have also=
 engaged OAG members, in the Salamkhail and nearby areas.<br /><br />Two AN=
SF and two PGM members have been killed and three other ANSF and three PGM =
members have been wounded. Three OAG members have been killed and one more =
wounded.<br /><br />AAF is still monitoring the security situation by air. =
The airstrike conducted in the Salamkhail area yesterday resulted in one OA=
G member killed and two others wounded. In addition, last midnight, AAF con=
ducted at least two airstrikes targeting a private residence in which OAG m=
embers were gathering in the Tarakhail area of Baghlan-e Jadid District. As=
 a result, three OAG members were killed. Civilians were reportedly present=
 in the compound, with two of them killed and two others (children) wounded=
.<br /><br />The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road is open to traffic. At around 094=
5 hrs today, OAG members established a checkpoint in the Hussain Khail area=
 of Pul-e Khumri District (see AFGHANISTAN/NORTHEAST/A/25052021/#001).<br /=

> The armed clash in the Fabrika area is still ongoing with SAF and RPGs. L=
ocal reports suggest that both sides are also firing IDF. In addition, OAG =
members established a checkpoint on Sarak-e 10th at around 1100 hrs.<br /><=
br />AAF is still monitoring the security situation by air. At approximatel=
y 1200 hrs, the air forces conducted at least two airstrikes targeting OAG =
positions in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/YZ9sedrcdqpdD6CTA">Salamkha=
il</a> and <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/BkaUN5mbVdR4EEgS9">Tarakhail</a> =
