oien base to resume the operation in Kolabab. OAG members opened fire on th=
e ANSF personnel and an armed clash broke out.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">AAF helicopters are in the area and are=
 expected to conduct airstrikes in support of ANSF members on the ground.&n=
bsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The road to Aqcha DAC remains closed.&n=
bsp;<br /><br />NGOs are advised to avoid the area and adjust movements if =
necessary.&nbsp;</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 25 May, 1600 hrs:</strong=
> The armed clash ended at approximately 1500 hrs, when ANSF members withdr=
ew from Kolabab to an ANSF base in Qara Boien. ANP members stationed at the=
 ANP outpost in Kolabab also moved to Qara Boien. OAG members then overran =
the ANP outpost and set it on fire.&nbsp;<br /><br />The road to Aqcha DAC =
remains closed. While AAF conducted two airstrikes in an attempt to clear O=
AG positions on the road, OAG members remain in position around the DAC roa=
d. During the operation an IED detonated against ANSF personnel on the Aqch=
a DAC road, killing three ANA members and wounding two more.&nbsp;<br /><br=
 />NGOs are advised to continue avoiding the Qara Boien area. With both OAG=
 members and ANSF personnel still in the area, there is a high likelihood o=
f further exchanges of fire, in addition to the possibility of additional I=
EDs along the Aqcha DAC road.&nbsp;</div>

> The ANSF personnel involved in the clearing operation have moved to the K=
olabab area. The armed clash between ANSF members and OAG members is ongoin=
g in Kolabab. <br /><br />At the time of writing the firefight had wounded =
one NDS member. Two OAG members have been killed and three wounded.&nbsp;</=
