</strong> The firefight between ANSF/PGM and OAG members is still ongoing i=
n the Baghlan-e Jadid DAC and Do Saraka areas, with both warring parties sp=
oradically exchanging SAF and RPGs.<br /><br />The AAF airstrike which impa=
cted on a health facility in the Shahr-e Kohna area on 18 May resulted in f=
ive civilians wounded in total.<br /><br />No further causualties have been=
 reported.<br /><br />The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road is open to traffic, howe=
ver, the risk of collateral damage if travelling through this route is asse=
ssed to be high.<br /><br />OAG members have reportedly proposed a one-mont=
h ceasefire in Baghlan-e Jadid District, which the GOA and local PGM member=
s have refused. Instead, local ANSF/PGM members have apparently asked the a=
rmed opposition to withdraw from the Shahr-e Kohna area and implement a cea=
sefire for a longer term. Negotiations are ongoing, with local elders media=

nging fire in the Do Saraka area since approximately 1600 hrs yesterday. On=
e Humvee-type vehicle has been partially damaged.<br /><br />AAF is monitor=
ing the security situation by air.<br /><br />No further casualties have be=
en reported.<br /><br />The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road remains closed to traf=
fic.<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.<br /><br />NGOs wit=
h staff present in the area are recommended to initiate headcount procedure=
s and advise their staff to remain indoors, away from windows, and consider=
 to seek shelter inside safe rooms or hardened structures.</div>

g>The armed clash concluded at around 2200 hrs last night, with both warrin=
g parties, ANSF and OAG members remaining positioned in the Do Saraka area.=
<br /><br />Yesterday, at around 1600 hrs, an estimated 150 ANSF troops wer=
e deployed from Pul-e Khumri City to the Do Saraka area.<br /><br />Two ANS=
F members have been wounded, while two OAG members have been killed and ano=
ther one wounded.<br /><br />AAF conducted at least two airstrikes targetin=
g OAG positions in the Do Saraka area at approximately 1900 hrs yesterday. =
Five OAG members were killed and three others wounded.<br /><br />The Pul-e=
 Khumri-Kunduz Road remains closed to traffic.<br /><br />The previous advi=

above, OAG members damaged the road surface of the Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road=
 using an excavator. Traffic has been blocked in the area.<br /><br />Consi=
dering the possibility of an ANSF response, an armed clash may erupt at any=
 time. At around 1930 hrs, an estimated 80 ANSF members were deployed from =
Pul-e Khumri City to Baghlan-e Jadid DAC.<br /><br />The Shahr-e Kohna area=
