</strong> Firefighters arrived at the scene late evening on 09 May and mana=
ged to extinguish the fire.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">Two fuel trucks burned out, along with =
a cargo truck, all waiting to access Kabul City.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">According to the ANSF investigation, th=
e cause of the fire was a technical fault on one of the fuel trucks. Howeve=
r, this has not been confirmed by independent sources.&nbsp;<br /><br /></d=
iv>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">ANSF maintains a presence in the area, =
as clean up is ongoing. The title section of the road has been reopened to =
civilian traffic. However, severe traffic disruptions are still experienced=
 as multiple trucks waiting to enter the city were abandoned when the fire =
broke out and was still partially blocking the area as the morning traffic =
rush to enter the city started.&nbsp;<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The previous advisory to avoid the area=
 and adjust movements accordingly still stands.</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 09 May, 2030 hrs:</strong=
> At the above time and location, multiple fuel trucks waiting to enter Kab=
ul City through the city gate caught fire and are currently blocking the ti=
tle section of the Kabul-Charikar Highway. Explosions have been reported; h=
owever, the cause of the fire is currently unknown.&nbsp;<br /><br />ANSF a=
rrived at the scene and established a security cordon, blocking the title s=
ection of the road for civilian traffic.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The fire is=
 causing severe smoke development, which can be seen from a large distance,=
 including Kabul City.&nbsp;<br /><br />A similar incident occurred on 01 M=
ay, in the same location. At the moment is, however, unknown if the two inc=
idents are indeed identical in nature and extent.</div>
