s: </strong>At around 1000 hrs, an estimated 120 ANSF members (ANP, ANP Spe=
cial Forces, ANA, and NDS) launched an operation targeting OAG members in t=
he title area as well as in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/T2MPM22omD3B=
LPmUA">Dahan-e Aab</a> area of PD 6 in Fayzabad City, which is located just=
 across the Kokcha River. Shortly after the operation commenced, OAG member=
s engaged the ANSF operations team in an armed clash using SAF and RPGs. Th=
e armed clash is ongoing.<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place=
.</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 09 April, 1845 hrs:</stro=
ng> OAG members are still positioned on the Fayzabad-Baharak Road, in the K=
hanaqa area. As of the time of writing, the road is open to civilian traffi=
c.<br /><br />At around 1700 hrs, ANSF temporarily closed the Fayzabad-Baha=
rak Road to civilian traffic. An estimated 40 ANSF members were deployed fr=
om Fayzabad City to the Khanaqa area and took position in the proximity of =
the OAG checkpoint. AAF conducted at least two airstrikes targeting the OAG=
 members, with the armed men withdrawing from the road. Following the AAF o=
peration, a convoy of three ANP Special Forces Humvee-type vehicles travell=
ing from Baharak DAC to Fayzabad City crossed the area, and a brief exchang=
e of SAF took place between the two warring parties.<br /><br />No casualti=
es have been reported.</div>

ng> OAG members are still positioned in the Khanaqa area, searching passing=
 private vehicles on the Fayzabad-Baharak Road. Yesterday in the evening, t=
he OAG members emplaced stones on the road, forcing drivers to reduce speed=
.<br /><br />At around 1730 hrs yesterday, OAG members abducted two passeng=
ers of a private vehicle, suspected ANSF members.<br /><br />A number of re=
sidents of Khanaqa have reportedly left the area due to potential for an ar=
med clash between OAG members and ANSF/PGMs.<br /><br />The Fayzabad-Bahara=
k Road remains open to traffic in the area.<br /><br />The previous advisor=
y remains in place.</div>

int searching passing private vehicles for ANSF/GOA personnel.<br /><br />C=

 any time.<br /><br />The Fayzabad-Baharak Road remains open to civilian tr=
affic in the area.<br /><br />NGOs are advised to avoid the area and adjust=
