Dear Respected colleagues

As per decision of MoPH, District centers should also collect samples =
from suspect cases of COVID-19 in health facilities. Based on this =
decision, JACK organization has decided to arrange a comprehensive =
training of Sample collection to District centers (who are MD and =
Nurse), RRT lab technician and Lab Technician of health facilities in =
which District centers are located.

According to contract of ERHSP project, activities of ERHSP project =
should not affect negative on Sehatmandi project and there is only one =
staff in District center (MD or Nurse) in health facilities. In this =
case, District centers should learn how to collect samples =
professionally from suspect cases. We have also added Health facility =
lab technicians on this training, because if in case District centers =
have problem in sample collection, Health facility lab technicians will =
support them. This decision will not affect Sehatmandi project =
negatively and ERHSP project will also achieve its target.

This training should be at least two days (planned date is 30th and 31st =
of January 2021). According to our plan, Mr Abdul Rahim Zahir (Kunduz =
COVID-19 Diagnostic lab center) would as trainer along with help from =
PPHD.=20

The participants would be: 9 District centers, 5 RRT lab technicians and =
9 Health facility lab technciians.
