JACK participated in ICCT meeting organized by UN-OCHA today 1-12-2020. =
The agenda of the meeting was as below:

1.	Updates on Winterization assistance 2020-2021  (All clusters).
2.	 Updates on COVID-19  (Health Cluster)
3.	Overview on Protection of civilians ( Protection Cluster).
4.	AOB.

Note:

*	On Winterization, each Cluster is requested to share data on projected =
numbers of beneficiaries by Provinces ( use  individuals, NOT families).
*	On COVID-19, the Health Cluster will be required to share a =
presentation with the latest updates. This will be supplemented  by =
inputs from three Members of the RCCE working group (UNICEF, UNHCR, DRC, =
JACK, etc.).
*	On Protection, the UNCHR will share an update/overview on protection =
in the areas of: i) Child Protection; ii) Access to services ; iii)  =
Rights of women and GBV; iv) Shelter; v) Education in the context of =
COVID-19 and ; vi) land and resettlement of IDPSs

JACK explained the activities which were carried out by Health =
Facilities, Community health workers and COVID-19 hospital staff.

=E2=80=9CJACK is currently running 75 health facilities in Kunduz =
province. Beside Health facilities, 513 health is being supported by =
JACK organization in Kunduz province. In total 1026 Community health =
worker is working voluntarily to spread the measurements of COVID-19 =
prevention. Starting from Health Post, Sub health center, Basic health =
care, Comprehensive health care, District hospitals and screening teams =
are screening Kunduz population on the daily basis, around 1000 of =
Kunduz population is being screened every day. Spreading awareness by a =
lot of health workers and Health facility staffs, being active of =
Screening team, awareness raising in cities and hard to reach and =
underserved areas of Kunduz province are the factors which will =
encourage Kunduz vulnerable population to take the COVID-19 prevention =
measurements seriously. The 2nd phase of COVID-19 will be difficult then =
the first one. Community awareness of the COVID-19, active screening =
teams, recent displacement of the Kunduz population due to conflicts, =
volunteer human resource and active contact tracing by COVID-19 RRTs =
will result in high number of positive cases in 2nd phase of the =
COVID-19 pandemic in Kunduz province. JACK COVID-19 hospital project is =
extended for another 6 months, the only difference is that in current =
project there are 25 beds and 5 Rapid Response teams. However, if the =
Hospital Bed occupancy rate is high, than after approval from Ministry =
of public health, Hospital can increase its number of beds.=20

JACK implemented AHF COVID-19 response project. The project life time =
was from June 2020 until November 2020. The project was implemented =
successfully and it was very effective in hard to reach and underserved =
areas (AOG under controlled area). We hope it extends for more =
humanitarian service=E2=80=9D COVID-19 Acting Technical Manager said to =
the North east region ICCT meeting.

The response from Alexis was: =E2=80=9CJACK intervention in COVID-19 =
response is very pleasant, however Takhar province activities are weak. =
WHO should organize a meeting and share the intervention of JACK on =
COVID-19 in Kunduz province=E2=80=9D. Overall, ICCT meeting members are =
very satisfied with JACK services and intervention on COVID-19 =
prevention and response.=20
