 hrs:</strong> The firefight concluded at around 1030 hrs. As of the time o=
f writing, it is unclear whether OAG members have withdrawn from the area.<=
br /><br />The SVBIED was confirmed to be an ANSF Humvee-type vehicle rigge=
d with explosives. The OAG member driving the vehicle, which had been proba=
bly seized from ANSF in a previous incident, had crossed a first ANSF contr=
ol and entered the ANBP HQ before detonating the explosives.<br /><br />At =
around 1100 hrs, AAF conducted at least one airstrike to target OAG members=
 roughly 1-2 km to the northeast from the title area, in <a href=3D"https:/=
/goo.gl/maps/fcJ3WM92QRTHzNAc9">Bakhmal Kocha</a>.<br /><br />Furthermore, =
at approximately 0830 hrs, OAG members fired at least one mortar round from=
 an unknown location towards the ANSF security belt in the <a href=3D"https=
://goo.gl/maps/HkD9mt8V4v6TTTmk6">Bandar-e Kunduz</a> area of Emam Saheb Di=
strict. The mortar round impacted in an open area where the bus station is =
located, wounding three civilians.<br /><br />As of the time of reporting, =
five ANSF members have been killed and 13 others (including one ANBP mid-le=
vel commander) have been wounded. OAG casualty figures remain unknown.<br /=
><br />Multiple private compounds in the area were damaged due to the explo=
sion, and some others received the impact of stray bullets during the firef=
ight. Civilian casualties currently stand at 18 wounded. An NGO project sit=
e in the area was collaterally affected by the title incident, reporting ma=
terial damage.</div>

trong> Both groups, ANSF and OAG members, are still exchanging fire in the =
area. The target was the Emam Saheb ANBP HQ, with an estimated 10-15 OAG me=
mbers involved in the attack. In addition to the ANBP members, approximatel=
y 50 ANSF members (ANA, ANP and ALP) are currently engaging the OAG members=
.<br /><br />Initially, a SVBIED had detonated at the gate of the ANBP HQ c=
ausing an explosion in the area. As of the time of writing, it is unconfirm=
ed whether the OAG members intruded the ANBP compound.<br /><br />AAF is mo=
nitoring the security situation by air and providing support to the governm=
ent troops on the ground.<br /><br />One ANBP member has been killed and fo=
ur others wounded. One OAG member has been killed. In addition, 15 civilian=
s have been wounded, most of them due to the explosion. Casualty figures ar=
