G members fired at least three mortar rounds from the Said Ahmad area towar=
ds the Aliabad District Cheif of Police (DCoP) compound. No casualties were=

eckpoint remains unclear since the ANSF members abandoned the two checkpoin=
ts in the Omar Khail and Madrasa areas of Aliabad District along the Pul-e =
Khumri-Kunduz Road at around 0000 hrs on 19 September. AOG members have mai=
ntained control of this segment of the road since then.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road remains op=
en to civilian traffic in the title area.</div>
<br />The previous advisory remains in place.<br /><br />
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 22 September, 0900 hrs:</=
strong> On 20 September, at around 2300 hrs, an estimated 50 ANSF reinforce=
ments from the Aliabad DAC were deployed to retake the checkpoints which ha=
d been overran by the AOG members in the Qasem Ali, Ramazani and Rah-e Kema=
 areas of Aliabad District. An armed clash ensued between the AOG and ANSF =
members, which concluded at around 0100 hrs the following morning.<br /><br=
 />ANSF members managed to force the AOG members to withdraw and to retake =
the three checkpoints and positioned other ANSF personnel around the checkp=
oints as reinforcement. AOG members, however, remain positioned in the titl=
e areas.<br /><br />Casualty figure remains the same as previously reported=
.<br /><br />The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road remains open to traffic.</div>

bsp;</strong>Last night at around 2300 hrs, AOG members attacked ANSF membe=
rs manning a checkpoint in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/8aruUMAkfg68n=
EmT6">Rah-e Kema</a> area and overran it. <br /><br />Meanwhile, elsewhere =
in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/yifgngK1YqvgdT7w8">Madrasa</a> and <a=
 href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/WkJ6LFNpBVoh495W7">Omar Khail</a> areas along =
the Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Road, ANSF members abandoned without any confrontat=
ion two other checkpoints and withdrew with AOG members setting them on fir=
e.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">Furthermore, yesterday, at around 1800 =
hrs, an estimated 40 ANA reinforcements from Kunduz City were dispatched to=
 Aliabad District.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">Moreover, last night at around 2330 hrs=
, AAF conducted at least four airstrikes targeting the AOG members in the R=
ah-e Kema area.<br /><br /></div>
<div style=3D"text-align: justify;">In addition to the previous casualty fi=
gures reported, three more ANA soldiers have been wounded while three AOG m=
embers killed and another five wounded.<br /><br />The Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz =
Road remains under the ANSF control while the Qasem Ali, Ramazani, Khail Qa=
da and Rah-e Kema areas shifted to AOGscontrol.<br /><br /></div>

<br />The previous advisory to avoid the title areas and <a href=3D"https:/=
/goo.gl/maps/De9WuinhHpkcdvYN8">Khail Gada</a> and Rah-e Kema areas remain =
in place as the areas were kinetic as of the time of writing.&nbsp;<br /><b=

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 18 September, 2030 hrs: <=
/strong>The armed clash concluded at around 1700 hrs. AOG members managed t=
o overran three ANSF checkpoints in the Qasem Ali and Ramazani areas and se=
t them on fire. In addition to the title locations, AOG members established=
 control in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/De9WuinhHpkcdvYN8">Khail Gad=
a</a> area. ANSF members withdrew from these areas, taking position in the =
<a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/2u7YZBLtS9gVVMni8">Haji Hussain</a> area, ne=
arby the Pul-e Khumri-Kunduz Main Road. No further firefighting has been re=
ported since then.<strong><br /><br /></strong>In addition to the previous =
casualty figures reported, one more ANSF member was killed.</div>
