rs:</strong> The ANSF operation team members remain positioned in the Nawab=
ad Andarabi Ha area. ANSF are sporadically firing artillery from the Bala H=
esar and Toop Khana areas to target AOG positions in Malarghi and Bagh-e Mi=
ri. In addition, yesterday, at around 1100 hrs, AAF conducted at least thre=
e airstrikes to target AOG members in the Malarghi area.<br /><br />Yesterd=
ay, at approximately 1400 hrs, AOG members attacked an ANA base located in =
the Char Sari area with SAF and RPGs, destroying one of its perimeter walls=
. Subsequently, ANA soldiers abandoned their base, taking position in anoth=
er ANSF base located nearby, with AOG members later setting the ANA base on=
 fire.<br /><br />In addition to the casualty figures previously reported, =
one ANA soldier has been wounded and two AOG members killed.<br /><br />The=
 Kunduz-Taloqan Road remains closed to traffic.<br /><br />The previous adv=
isory remains in place.</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 18 August, 1115 hrs:</str=
ong> A firefight between ANSF and AOG members took place yesterday, from ap=
proximately 1345 to 1730 hrs, in the Nawabad Andarabi Ha area. When an ANSF=
 Humvee-type vehicle was crossing the Char Sari area, at around 1545 hrs, a=
n IED detonated, destroying the vehicle and wounding four ANSF members.<br =
/><br />Last evening, at around 1900 hrs, ANSF fired at least nine artiller=
y rounds from the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/3zbQ8XAtCaAnCCfJ7">Bala He=
sar</a> area of Kunduz City and the Toop Khana area of Khanabad District to=
wards AOG positions in the Malarghi and Char Sari areas.<br /><br />Later, =
at 2300 hrs, an estimated 60 ANSF (ANA Commandos and ANP Special Forces) re=
inforcements were deployed from Taloqan City to the Nawabad Andarabi Ha are=
a.<br /><br />Lastly, earlier in the morning today, at around 0500 hrs, a b=
rief firefight erupted between ANSF and AOG members in the Malarghi area.<b=
r /><br />No further casualties have been reported.<br /><br />The Kunduz-T=
aloqan Road remains closed to traffic.<br /><br />The previous advisory rem=
ains in place.</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 17 August, 1245 hrs:</str=
ong> Today, at around 1130 hrs, an estimated 150 ANSF (ANA Commandos, NDS a=
nd ANP) and PGM members launched an operation targeting AOG members in the =
Nawabad Andarabi Ha area of Khanabad District.<br /><br />Yesterday, from a=
pproximately 1800 to 1900 hrs, ANSF had fired at least two artillery rounds=
 from the Kunduz Airport plateau and 10 artillery rounds more from the <a h=
ref=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/Ar8wwa4tcdKL4UZLA">Toop Khana</a> area of Khanab=
ad towards AOG positions in the Malarghi area of Kunduz, and the Char Sari =
and&nbsp;<a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/XiwtEwJMx1v2zVjm9">Dokan Adam Khan<=
/a> areas of Khanabad.<br /><br />Later last night, at around 2300 hrs, AOG=
 members had attacked an ANA base in the Malarghi area with SAF and RPGs, p=
rompting a firefight that lasted until 0030 hrs.<br /><br />No further casu=
alties have been reported.<br /><br />The Kunduz-Taloqan Road remains close=
d to traffic.<br /><br />The previous advisory remains in place.</div>

<div style=3D"text-align: justify;"><strong>As of 16 August, 1330 hrs:</str=
ong> Today, at around 1145 hrs, ANSF fired at least three artillery rounds =
from the Kunduz Airport plateau towards AOG positions in Char Sari, and the=
 <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/gkioKZnz73uMAJhR7">Bagh-e Miri</a> area of =
Kunduz District.<br /><br />AAF is occasionally flying over Kunduz and Khan=
abad districts, monitoring the security situation by air.<br /><br />As a r=
esult of the recent conflict activity in the area, one ANA soldier has been=
 wounded, while one AOG member has been killed and three others wounded.<br=
 /><br />The Kunduz-Taloqan Road remains closed to traffic.<br /><br />The =
previous advisory remains in place.<br /><br /><strong>As of 15 August, 223=
0 hrs:</strong> The Kunduz-Taloqan Road remains blocked to traffic.<br /><b=
r />In the morning today, ANSF and AOG members were sporadically exchanging=
 fire along the Kunduz-Taloqan Road, in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/=
z753aFrQnChoHfL57">Char Sari</a> and <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/E2T5hJC=
WfEPxtqwz6">Nawabad Andarabi Ha</a> areas of Khanabad District where, repor=
tedly, AOG members have taken position in or in the proximity of private re=
sidences.<br /><br />Furthermore, in the evening hours, AOG members attacke=
d an ANA base located in the Malarghi area, prompting a firefight that conc=
luded shortly after.<br /><br />No casualties have been reported.</div>
