eir arrival to avoid confrontation.<br /><br />On 25 July, at around 0100 h=
rs, AOG members&mdash;reportedly coming from Yamgan District of Badakhshan,=
 and Barg-e Matal District of Nuristan Province&mdash;had attacked and over=
run multiple ALP/PGM checkpoints in the <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/e2bn=
JDVt9pRUBGib6">Madan-e Lajward</a> and <a href=3D"https://goo.gl/maps/cxqm7=
RjZKmy1Q5Wp6">Dar-e Monjan</a> areas of Koran wa Monjan. Although most ALP =
and PGM members retreated to avoid casualties, two ALP members were killed =
and two more wounded.<br /><br />Later that day, at approximately 0830 hrs,=
 an estimated 60 ANSF reinforcements had been airlifted from Fayzabad City =
to Koran wa Monjan DAC in preparation for a potential AOG offensive on the =
district centre. Furthermore, an additional 40 ANSF members were deployed f=
rom the provincial capital to Koran wa Monjan yesterday, at around 1930 hrs=
.<br /><br />Over the past days, ANSF have been firing artillery from Koran=
 wa Monjan DAC towards the AOG positions in Dar-e Monjan. As a result, thre=
e AOG members have been killed and five others wounded.<br /><br />Moreover=
, yesterday, at approximately 1900 hrs, AAF had conducted at least one airs=
