Greetings from Kabul,
The MoPH has developed guideline for medicines donation and it is  
reflected in medicine policy.
1- If you receive near expire medicines, if it is from a donor( PHD or  
other stakeholders), it should have at least 6 month expiration date.  
And when you accept it, it should be very planned for its consumption  
and the distribution should occur immediately.
2- If you receive items from supplier, it should have at least one  
year expiration date or if the items has les than one year expiration  
date, then the 2 /3 of the shelf life should be remained.

For the below Metronidazole, as it is may not communicated with PHD,  
so it is better to supply the maximum stock for health facilites, so  
agree with Jamal, and the KDZ PHD should be informed.
